We raise money for our community projects through raffles and do not solicit from individuals. Your raffle purchase donation can provide vital assistance needed to those complete these projects and help those in need. Please consider participating today and help us make a positive impact on our community.
Kaia'ulu Ethos is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and aid to those in need primarily in our community of Hawaii Oceanview. Our very first project is both an animal sanctuary for homeless animals wandering around our communities without a home where they can be taken care of and kept out of the elements and re-trained in preparation to be re-homed. As well as an animal park for them to run freely with supervision and not be out on the streets.
We are hopefully going to be able to help with support for those individuals that have on their own taken abandoned animals into their homes and are feeding them and caring for them on their own dime, unless you buy good food for animals you don't realize the cost that these people are shouldering just because it is the right thing to do.
What a lot of people in the world don't realize is that we are living on cooled lava and it's not all nice and smooth and grass covered. It takes a toll not only on an animals feet, but on their body when a homeless animal attempts to bed down for the night.
Secondly we are in need of a veterinary practice on this side of the island as the nearest ones to us are in Kona and they are not accepting new clients as of this point in time which leaves a lot of emergencies with the animals to all but die and in some cases just that. So the second part of the project is to build a facility and hire a veterinarian or group of veterinarians and techs to make it the go to place for animal care on the island or on any of the islands.
The way to fund this is a succession of raffles to raise the needed funds to make this a success. Our first raffle prize for this project is a supercharged 2010 Jaguar XKR convertible with only 51,574 miles on it (although the mileage may climb as we take it to the jaguar dealer, detailing shop, etc.) Sadly, we were able to acquire this vehicle from the estate of an acquaintance where it sat garaged for the past 10 years.
